The answer to Exercise 1
1，安全使用这种疗法的主要原则就是在能达到所需效果的前提下在所需的最短时间内使用尽可能小的剂量。
2，隔离病人以防止其暴露被细菌感染是很重要的。
3，在氯霉素使用十七年之后，人们才发现长时间的，持续的使用氯霉素会导致视力损伤。
4，这个测试无法区分开活动的，静止的还是已愈合的感染。

e.g.: The patient is not so sick but he should be hospitalized.(but)
病人病得不是很重，没有必要住院。
        ^ no man is so old but he may learn.(here "but" means "that...not...")
The side-effect of these drugs is none serious.(none)
这些药物几乎没有副作用。
This patient recovered no faster than that one.(no)
这两个病人恢复得都慢。

4 basic elements: prefix, root, combining form, suffix

\Arrangement of the morphenes(词素)
’lymphadenitis-----lymph+aden(腺)+itis(炎症) 淋巴腺炎
mastectomy-----mast(**)+ectomy(切除术)**切除术
lipoma-----lip+oma(瘤)脂肪瘤
’phagocyte吞噬细胞-----cytophage细胞吞噬
blastocyte胚细胞-----cytoblast原生质
podagra足痛风-----agropod(无意义 )
\arrangement of the combining forms
'types:
-o-: cardi+o-----cardio-
-a-: par+a-----para-
-y-: brad+y-----brady-(慢的)   pol+y-----poly-
-i: mult+i-----multi-        i+cide(kill)------icide          ov(ovum)+i-----ovi-
'gastro+pathy-----gastropathy(胃病)
gastro+algia(pain)-----gastralgia(胃痛)
以辅音开头需加上连接词-o-,-a等，以元音开头连接字母可省
例外：gastrointestinal
            nephroabdominal
            gastrorrhagia(胃出血)
            arrhythmia-----a+rhythm+ia (心律不齐)
